Stay alert. Stay safe.
Protecting our customers is our top priority. Scammers may impersonate Flight Despatch via calls, SMS, emails or fake websites — here's how to spot them and stay safe.
Flight Despatch will NEVER ask for OTPs, passwords, or payments via personal UPI IDs.
Common fraud patterns
These are the most reported scams using our brand. Recognise the pattern — and you're halfway to staying safe.
The 'Unpaid Customs' Scam
A call, SMS or WhatsApp claims your parcel is stuck at customs and demands immediate payment via UPI link or bank transfer to 'release' it.
Real customs fees are never collected via personal UPI or random links.
Fake KYC Update Requests
Links to 'verify KYC' or 'update Aadhaar' to avoid delivery cancellation — leading to phishing sites that steal your banking credentials.
Flight Despatch never asks you to update KYC for a shipment.
Bogus Delivery Re-Schedule
SMS or WhatsApp links asking you to 'click here to reschedule' your delivery. Tapping installs malicious APKs or steals credentials.
Re-schedule only via our official tracking page on flightdespatch.net.
Job & Franchise Offer Frauds
Fake recruiters or 'franchise consultants' demand registration fees, security deposits or processing charges in our name.
We never charge any fee at recruitment or initial enquiry stage.
Forged Receipts & Documents
Fraudsters share fake AWB receipts, invoices or 'shipment confirmation' PDFs to trick you into paying for a parcel that doesn't exist.
Verify any document by tracking the AWB on flightdespatch.net.
Lookalike Websites & Domains
Phishing sites that mimic our brand using domains like flight-despatch.in, fdc-courier.net etc., usually pushed via Google ads or SMS.
Our only official domains are flightdespatch.net and flightdespatch.in.
Red flags that scream scam
If any one of these appears in a call, message or email — treat it as suspicious until verified.
What to do right now
If you suspect fraud — or have already shared information — act fast. Every minute matters.
Don't Pay or Share
Stop the transaction immediately. Don't share OTPs, passwords or personal info — even if pressured.
Capture Evidence
Take screenshots of the message/call/email, including sender number, UPI ID or link. Save them safely.
