Last updated: 17 June 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Flight Despatch Courier & Cargo India Pvt. Ltd. (“Flight Despatch”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
By booking a shipment, using any service, or accessing our website, the shipper, consignor, or consignee (“Customer”) agrees to be bound by these Terms, which constitute the complete and binding agreement governing the services availed.
All shipments booked through any mode shall be governed by these Terms & Conditions.
1. Applicability
These Terms apply to all shipments and services handled by Flight Despatch, irrespective of the mode of booking, documentation, platform, or system used.
Any reference to these Terms on shipment labels, invoices, system-generated records, or digital platforms shall constitute valid acceptance.
2. Scope of services
Flight Despatch provides courier, cargo, logistics, warehousing, and related supply-chain services through its own network and authorised partners, within India and internationally, subject to serviceability, operational feasibility, and applicable laws.
3. Serviceability (NSA & ODA)
Services are subject to network coverage and operational feasibility. Certain locations may be classified as Non-Serviceable Areas (NSA) or Out of Delivery Areas (ODA).
Shipments to such locations may be subject to additional charges, extended transit timelines, alternate delivery arrangements, or service restrictions.
Flight Despatch reserves the right to cancel, hold, return, or discontinue shipments to such locations for operational, regulatory, or commercial reasons, including but not limited to feasibility, cost, or compliance requirements.
4. Shipment acceptance & inspection
Flight Despatch reserves the right to accept, reject, hold, inspect, open, or return any shipment, with or without prior notice, for reasons including but not limited to legal, regulatory, security, customs, law-enforcement, or operational considerations.
Such inspection or action may be carried out in cases including but not limited to suspected prohibited or restricted contents, documentation discrepancies, packaging non-compliance, safety concerns, or any requirement under applicable laws or authority directions.
5. Prohibited & restricted items
Customers shall not ship items prohibited or restricted under applicable laws, aviation regulations, or international conventions, including but not limited to hazardous materials, explosives, firearms, narcotics, illegal substances, counterfeit goods, or other restricted items.
The Customer is solely responsible for the contents of the shipment and for compliance with all applicable regulations.
6. Customs & international shipments
International shipments are subject to the customs laws, regulations, inspections, and clearance procedures of the relevant jurisdictions.
The Customer is responsible for providing accurate documentation and for payment of all applicable duties, taxes, penalties, or charges imposed by authorities.
Flight Despatch shall not be liable for delays, holds, seizures, or non-delivery arising from customs, regulatory, or governmental actions, including but not limited to inspections, assessments, or compliance requirements.
7. E-Way Bill & statutory compliance
The Customer shall be solely responsible for generating and providing a valid E-Way Bill and any other statutory documents required under applicable GST or tax laws for the movement of goods.
Flight Despatch shall not be responsible for delays, penalties, seizures, or non-delivery arising due to the non-availability, incorrect generation, expiry, or non-compliance of the E-Way Bill or statutory documentation.
8. Packaging
Proper packaging is the responsibility of the Customer.
Packaging assistance, if provided, does not transfer liability for the shipment contents.
9. Weight & billing
Charges are calculated based on actual or volumetric weight, whichever is higher.
Measurements recorded by Flight Despatch shall be final and binding.
10. Payment terms
- All shipments are subject to applicable freight, service, and ancillary charges as agreed.
- Approved credit customers must settle invoices within fifteen (15) days from the date of bill generation, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- Advance payment is mandatory for non-credit, walk-in, cash, and international shipments.
- COD, To-Pay, and Collect on Pickup (COP) services are subject to approval and applicable terms.
All payments must be made only through the official bank accounts or authorised payment channels of Flight Despatch. Payments made to unauthorised or personal accounts shall not be recognised.
Flight Despatch reserves the right to suspend services, hold shipments, cancel bookings, or withdraw credit facilities in the event of delayed or non-payment.
11. Transit time
Transit timelines are indicative and provided on a best-effort basis.
Delays may occur due to reasons including but not limited to operational constraints, regulatory actions, weather conditions, or force majeure events, and do not constitute a service guarantee.
12. Proof of Delivery (POD) & OTP delivery
Delivery may be completed through OTP verification, signature, or system-generated confirmation.
Digital and/or physical POD records are retained for a period of three (3) months from the date of delivery; requests beyond this period shall not be entertained.
Physical POD requests within the retention period may attract additional charges.
13. Delivery attempts & RTO
In case of non-delivery due to reasons including but not limited to incorrect details, unavailability, refusal, OTP failure, or other customer-related causes, shipments may be returned to origin (RTO).
Additional charges may apply.
14. Customer information
The Customer is responsible for providing accurate shipment, consignee, and content information.
Flight Despatch shall not be liable for issues arising from incorrect, incomplete, or misleading details.
15. Official communication
Only communications made through the official channels published on the Flight Despatch website, or expressly specified in these Terms, shall be considered valid.
Flight Despatch shall not be responsible for communications or commitments made through unauthorised channels, including but not limited to personal contact details, messaging applications, or social-media platforms, unless expressly designated as official.
